PCB antenna:
PCB antenna refers to the part on the PCB for wireless reception and transmission. The antenna is a kind of transducer. When transmitting, it converts the high-frequency current of the transmitter into space electromagnetic waves; when receiving, it converts the electromagnetic waves intercepted from space into high-frequency current and sends it to the receiver. The antenna design is an important part of designing a low-power, short-range wireless transceiver used in radio frequency identification systems. A good antenna system can achieve the best communication distance. There are many types of antennas, and different applications require different antennas. In the low-power, short-range RFID system, an antenna system with reliable communication and low cost is needed, and PCB loop antenna is a commonly used one.
Commonly used antenna types:
(1) External glue stick antenna: good performance, no need to debug, easy to replace, high gain, suitable for various terminal equipment.
(2) SMT patch type: The commonly used ceramic antenna has a small footprint, high integration, and is easy to replace. It is suitable for products with small space requirements, but this type of antenna is slightly more expensive and has a smaller bandwidth.
(3) On-board PCB antenna: It is etched by PCB, with low cost, but with limited performance and good adjustability. It can be used in large quantities for Bluetooth and WiFi wireless communication modules.
(4) FPC antenna: connected by feeder, it is free to install and has high gain. It can usually be pasted on the non-metal casing of the machine by using adhesive.
